Bowl Full of Goodness!
Oh how we love strawberries. We finally made it to the u-pick stand this morning and now I am in heaven with the smell! Next comes jam, shortcake, and I just might have to try this recipe here.
The fruit this year seems to be amazing!! doesn't it?? These are beautiful!!! I can't pick til Friday though.. my in-loves are having a church yardsale and I have helped for the past three weeks getting it ready... All proceeds are going to their church pantry!! so it's been a bit crazy here!!
So I'm jealous you have some.. and I don't!! tee hee
Those strawberries look irrestible! I'd have a hard time saving any for jam! I'd sit down and start gobbling down!
Have you ever had strawberries with sour cream and brown sugar? Here's what you do.
First dip the strawberry in sour cream. Then dip it in a bowl of brown sugar so the cream is all coated in sugar. ENJOY! Sit down with a bowl of strawberries, one of cream, and one of sugar and you won't stop until all three bowls are empty! :-)
